The SEARCH Foundation’s Annual Signature Event
The SEARCH Foundation hosted their Annual Signature Event at SKYBOX on 6th in conjunction with Catersource + The Special Event Show on On February 14, 2024! The SEARCH Foundation is a not for profit organization whose mission is to aid special event, meetings, and catering professionals when faced with life threatening illnesses or catastrophic occurrences. They do so much for our community of event professionals, and SKYBOX was honored to host their Annual Signature Event to raise money for their worthy cause.
This year, they SURPASSED their goal, raising over $100,000…which is more than they’ve raised at their Annual Signature Events EVER! We were beyond excited to host this special event at SKYBOX and are excited to share some of the event highlights below.
Ceviche Bar
Nothing beats eating fresh seafood on a beautiful day in Austin! This ceviche bar from Rosemary’s Catering was the perfect addition to the event. Not only was it delicious, but the set-up and presentation was incredible. The ice blocks were a huge talking point that had people taking pictures all night long.
Mirror Man
DFNTLY Entertainment definitely knows how to entertain. Their unique performance and costumes were unlike anything we’ve seen here at SKYBOX, and made for an exceptional guest experience. The dancers brought so much joy, and they added just the right amount of excitement to the night. The Mirror Man was one of many dancers who awed the crowd with his unique dance and shimmering costume.
The Original Butt Sketch
Yes, you butt-er believe it. The Original Butt Sketch concept began over 30 years ago by artist Krandel Lee Newton, and has since been entertaining young and old alike with his unique art. This one-of-a kind entertainment had guests laughing and posing all night long, and was definitely an experience to remember!

Dancers
Another one of DFNTLY Entertainment’s performances were the women who dazzled the crowd with their burlesque-style dances. Their dances were such a fun addition to the night and brought lots of high energy. The unique and high-quality performance was surely something to remember and would be perfect for many kinds of events.
